Penrite Everyday Mineral Engine Oil 15W-40 1 Litre PMO15001
Premium Mineral 15W-40 is a high quality mineral, SAE 15W-40, engine oil made from pure hydrocracked base oils and an advanced anti-wear additive system for complete engine protection. Premium Mineral 15W-40 meets API (American Petroleum Institute) SP specifications ensuring quality and satisfaction.
Premium Mineral 15W-40 is designed for use in modern 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder, multi-cam, multi-valve (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged & turbocharged engines. It is also suitable for use in rotary engined vehicles such as Mazda RX series vehicles that require this viscosity grade. Premium Mineral 15W-40 is recommended for use where SAE 15W-40 or SAE 20W-40 engine oils are specified by the manufacturer. It can be used where API SP and where previous specifications API SN (2010-2020), API SM (2004-2010), SL (2001-2004), SJ (1998-2000) or older specifications were recommended. It can also be used in older diesel engined vehicles where API CF or earlier is specified by the manufacturer. It is NOT suitable for use in diesels fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) that require an ACEA C grade Low-SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus & Sulphur) engine oil. Premium Mineral 15W-40 meets the latest API SP specification providing improved turbocharger deposit control, oxidation and deposit control, aeration, fuel economy and low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) protection and enhanced wear protection over standard API SN grade oils.
Premium Mineral 15W-40 is designed for use in passenger car, 4WD's and light commercial vehicles and is compatible with Petrol/LPG (Dual Fuel), E10, Diesel (without DPF) and most other conventional fuels.
NOTE: when changing oil, Penrite recommend using Penrite Engine Flush, a fast acting, solvent free, engine cleaning formulation that removes engine deposits, sludge and contaminants with the oil service drain. It contains added zinc for engine wear protection and its fast acting formulation works in 10 minutes.
